Custom steel profiles

Precision profile processing
Decoutere Profielen produces steel profiles and performs two types of profile processing operations: processing on the production line during the profiling stage and post-processing.
Profile processing during profiling
Before we produce our profiles, we slit the steel coils into bands according to the dimensions of your profiles. We use our own slitting line for this. At Decoutere Profielen we always keep a large stock of coils ensuring that we are not dependent on other parties. Because we cut the steel to size ourselves, we are very flexible and can deliver quickly to our customers.
The second stage in the production process is the profiling. Decoutere Profielen only produces cold rolled profiles. This is interesting for the industries to which Decoutere Profielen supplies. Cold rolled profiles are very robust and can be produced very quickly and in a cost-efficient way. During cold rolling, the slit steel plate is drawn through various profiling lines. Each performs a specific profile processing operation until the profile has the desired shape.
Some steel profiles require additional profile processing, such as special cut-outs. During the profiling process, the steel is punched on our automated profiling line. The desired shape and dimensions are entered, so that the machine performs the correct computer-controlled operations. The punched profiles have openings in the right place as per your design. Decoutere Profielen prefers in-line punching, which keeps the production costs and time low without impacting the result.
Post-processing of the profiles
Some profile processing operations cannot be performed on our profiling lines. Decoutere Profielen uses other state-of-the-art machines for this, which can apply the required processing according to your design.
Do you need curved profiles for a specific application? Our machine operators set the correct degree of curvature and the specialized machine bends your profiles according to the data entered.
The reducing of steel is a specific profile processing operation which is mainly used for the horticultural industry. The steel profiles are narrowed in certain places to create a transition from a wider to a narrower section. This ensures that the profiles slide easily into each other so that they can be fastened to each other without having to weld them together.
Would you like to add threads to your profiles to fasten them to each other or to other parts with bolts? Decoutere Profielen processes your steel profiles by threading them where necessary.
